How long does it take to receive my custom portrait?
​Years of experience has proven that to produce the quality heirloom portrait our clients have come to expect, this requires a lot of time and personalized attention to detail. With this level of dedication to each and every portrait, I only accept a commission for at the very most, two portraits per week. Normally you will receive a proof to approve within 48 hours.
Any edits requested add time to the creative production time. Once approved, then your order is sent out to our professional lab for processing. Artboard takes appx 3-5 days, whereas stretch canvas can take up to 2 weeks. Once we receive the finished portrait, we normally ship within 24 hours. All artwork is shipped by USPS and normally take appx 2 - 3 days for delivery within the continental USA. International orders are subject to your country's customs procedures and may take appx 2 weeks.
What does it mean you create a custom portrait from MY photo?

​When you send us your favorite digital photo of your pet / child / athlete, you already know you love the pose and expression. We digitally remove him/her/them from your photo and blend them into the fantasy background or scene of your choice. There is never any concern if the finished portrait will look like or catch the personality of your subject because it IS them from YOUR photo. We just need a large, clear and well lit photo and we do the rest!
What does 'fantasy' or 'fairytale' portrait mean?
​Our 'Fantasy' portraits are scenes and settings that don't actually exist. We have artistically created these backgrounds for dramatic and jaw dropping portrait paintings.

If you have an idea of a scene you would like created, don't hesitate for one minute in contacting us and passing that idea along. We are very happy to make something very special and one of a kind for your one of a kind fur or human family member.
Can I use a photograph from our photographer for a custom portrait?

Due to strict copyright infringement laws we cannot use any copyrighted material. If you have an image from your photographer that is not copyrighted, we need to check with that photographer first before we can use it. Customer submitting photos assumes all responsibility for those photos that they are not covered by any copyright.
Once my caketopper is ordered how long before I get it?

Our normal assembly time is 3-5 days, but we often have a lot of orders in queue so it may occasionally take longer before your order will ship. But rest assured we keep an extreme close eye on need by dates so when we are very busy, close need by dates will take priority. Once your order is complete, it will ship by USPS which normally only takes appx 3 business days. Please understand that once your parcel is in the hands of the US Postal Service, we have no control over delays due to weather or any other unforeseen circumstance.
How close to the real colors are your flowers / lace / hair / clothing colors?

Sadly there are no standards and every computer monitor and phone screen displays colors | light | dark differently. Please do not rely on your screen thinking it will be exactly as you see.
Do you ship orders outside the USA?

We sure do! We welcome orders from the following countries: Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Guam, Germany, Great Britain, Greenland, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland.
What are the shipping charges for my order?
​
US Postal Service bases their cost on the size of the parcel and weight right down to the ounce, and the zip code or international destination being shipped to. In the shopping cart the shipping charges will be calculated.
What do I do if my order arrives damaged?
​
Every order is shipped fully insured so all you need do is notify us right away and we will begin the process of submitting a damage claim and replacing the damaged item. Certain international destinations do not accept insurance so it may be a wise idea to check with your local authorities concerning insured parcels from the United States.
